Stade Rennais FC has launched a special ticketing offer for Breton clubs for their Europa League home game against Olympiakos. The match, originally scheduled for Thursday, November 5 at 18:45, will now be played on Wednesday, November 4 at 16:30 at Roazhon Park.

The change was made for security reasons. "Given the announced social movements on Thursday, November 5 and for security imperatives, the Europa League match will be played on Wednesday, November 4, at 16:30," Stade Rennais F.C. said in a statement. Their Ligue 1 clash against OGC Nice this weekend has also been brought forward by one day and will take place on Saturday, October 31.

An offer for regional clubs

The preferential ticketing rate is available to clubs affiliated with the Breton Football League. It is valid until Monday, November 2, the deadline for booking seats. This initiative aims to fill the stands at Roazhon Park and generate a supportive atmosphere for Les Rouge et Noir, who need it after a tough run of form.

Indeed, Stade Rennais FC have won only one of their last six matches, with a recent run of four defeats and one draw. The 3-0 victory over Strasbourg on October 25, courtesy of a Sebastian Szymański brace and a goal from Boulaye Dia, provided a welcome respite after a difficult spell. Prior to that win, the team had suffered a 1-0 loss at Laval, recorded a 4-1 win over Auxerre, a 2-1 win over OFI, a 4-3 loss at Paris FC, and a 2-2 draw at Juventus.

The game against Olympiakos is a significant fixture in the qualification race. The national security situation has therefore forced this unusual schedule change, with a mid-week afternoon kick-off. Stade Rennais FC officials hope the offer to Breton clubs will ensure a strong turnout despite the constraints. The season's top scorer, E. Lepaul, with seven goals in seven appearances, will be a key asset to break down the Greek defence. The reduced-rate tickets are available until Monday, November 2, 2026.
