Stade Rennais FC was forced to mobilize in an emergency to receive PSG in Ligue 1 restart. The decision to switch the match was made on Wednesday by the LFP's Competition Committee due to the poor state of the Parc des Princes pitch.

Online ticket sales overwhelmed

The online ticket sales for Stade Rennais FC were overwhelmed. The club's website did not crash but was slowed down due to the massive demand for the match. The stadium will be sold out on Sunday evening.

Fans disappointed

The fans of Stade Rennais FC who had planned to travel to the Parc des Princes were forced to cancel their trip. Two groups (the Roazhon Celtic Kop and the Socios) had organized a car trip for 60 euros (10 euros per person) which was cancelled. Stade Rennais FC has however indicated that the tickets purchased on the official club ticketing website will be refunded in the coming days.

1800 people mobilized

Almost 1800 people are mobilized for the event. Among them, stewards, security agents, staff for the nine VIP salons, club employees or maintenance teams.

LFP's decision

The decision to switch the match was made on Wednesday by the LFP's Competition Committee due to the poor state of the Parc des Princes pitch. According to L'Équipe's reports, the Ligue's decision triggered a real rush to organize the match.
