Stade Rennais FC recently announced the signing of Issa Soumaré, a talented striker, to strengthen their attack. Trained at the Génération Foot Academy, Soumaré made his debut in France in 2019 with US Orléans, where he scored 8 goals in National. After stints in Belgium and at Quevilly-Rouen, he shone at Le Havre, contributing to their Ligue 2 championship title in 2024. In the 2025/2026 season, he was a key player, participating in all Ligue 1 matches with 8 goals and 5 assists. His experience in Ligue 1 and versatility make him a valuable asset for the club. Executive President Arnaud Pouille expressed his satisfaction with this acquisition, highlighting Soumaré's ability to be decisive.
