Stade Rennais FC prepares for the season with a stage in Dinard and international matches against foreign teams. The Rouge et Noir will return to Piverdière on Monday, June 29, except for the four World Cup players (Samba, Seidu, Embolo, Al-Tamari). They will perform most of their preparation in their training center (a cohesion stage is scheduled from July 9 to 11), except for a week of training in Dinard, the club's stronghold, from July 20 to 25. The first two matches will see the SRFC face neighbors: Caen (Ligue 3) on July 9 in Vitré and Guingamp (Ligue 2) on July 17 in Dinard. Then, the level of adversity will rise throughout the preparation, with a priori friendly matches against four foreign teams. We already know the identity of the first two for two gala matches to be held at Roazhon Park: the reception of Club Bruges, recent Belgian champion, on Saturday, July 25, and the reception of Brentford, 9th in the last English championship. In the meantime, Franck Haise's players will have played a match on Sunday, August 2, outside which is still to be determined. They will complete their preparation a week before the resumption of Ligue 1 against an English club, whose identity has not yet been filtered.
