Stade Rennais Rejects Fulham’s €23m Bid for Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal
Stade Rennais FC has turned down a €23 million bid from Fulham FC to sign center-back Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal, according to reports by The Athletic.
While there is still the possibility that Fulham may make another offer in the coming days, the London club's management is currently exploring all other options available. The main reason for this stance is the firm position of Stade Rennais' board, which demands a higher transfer fee than what was offered by their English counterparts to agree to part with Aït Boudlal.
Regarded as one of Stade Rennais's most promising young players, Aït Boudlal made his first-team debut during the 2025-26 season. His rise in prominence was marked by 20 appearances in Ligue 1, including no fewer than 17 starts.
Promising Young Player and Moroccan International
The young center-back is also a Moroccan international (one cap), but did not feature in the World Cup with the Atlas Lions. Despite this, his potential and performances have caught the attention of other clubs, including Fulham FC.
Stade Rennais's firm stance on Aït Boudlal shows the value they place on him and their intention to keep him at all costs for now.
