Arthur Atta left Udinese for Fiorentina in July 2025. The Italian club officially announced a fee of €30 million without bonuses, but estimates range from €25 million to €40 million including add-ons. Transfermarkt’s valuation of €25 million is used for solidarity calculations. Based on this, the FIFA solidarity fund accounts for 5 % of the gross fee, totaling €1.25 million.
The split is calculated pro-rata based on the seasons spent at each youth club. Atta was registered with Stade Rennais FC from July 2011 to July 2019, covering his ages 12 to 16. He then moved to FC Metz from July 2019 to August 2024, before joining Udinese in September 2024. Under these terms, Stade Rennais FC receives roughly €375,000, FC Metz €625,000, and Udinese €250,000.
Pro-rata split for the 2024-25 season
FIFA rules require a pro-rata split if a player changes clubs mid-season. Atta joined Udinese in September 2024, after the 2024-25 season had already started. This means FC Metz and Udinese could share the portion tied to that period, slightly reducing Italy’s share in favor of the French club.
These figures remain conditional on the final transfer fee. Sources still disagree, but Stade Rennais FC is guaranteed a significant sum thanks to its role in Atta’s early development.
